About Worth the Downtime
In-office skin treatments are expensive and the marketing is loud. We explain them in plain language — the good, the bad and the realistic — so you can decide before you book.
How we rate
Each treatment gets a worth-it score out of 5, weighing scientific evidence, results relative to cost and downtime, and risk across skin tones. Clinics and brands can't pay for a score. If we ever earn from a link, it will be clearly labelled.
